Call now, or wait until morning?

Emergency callouts cost roughly double a booked daytime appointment. But waiting is not always safe, and nobody should talk you into it if it is not. Six questions. It reads the current London time by itself.

Checking the time in London…

1. Is anyone or any animal shut inside? Yes — a person or an animal is inside No, it is empty

2. Where are you? Locked out — I am outside I am inside; the lock is broken or will not work

3. Can the door be locked and left secure tonight? Yes, or it does not matter — I will be here No — the door cannot be secured

4. Do you have somewhere safe and warm to be tonight? Yes — friend, family, hotel, or I am already inside No — I would be outside

5. Is anything urgent locked inside? Nothing that cannot wait Medication, or something a person needs tonight

6. What is the likely job?

This is a prompt to think, not an instruction. It cannot see your street, your door or how you feel about standing on it. If waiting feels wrong, do not wait — nobody is grading you, and no saving is worth a bad night. Price bands last reviewed 27 August 2026.
